Need Fish Advice

I have a 40 gallon aquarium with some fish. I've had the orange one in there for awhile and used to have an algae eater but he's gone. (You can see all the algae) Can I get some advice or recommendations on how well these fish will do together or how long I can keep them together? Is it overcrowded now or will it be soon? Or if you can help me identify them, I can do some research myself. Most of them were given to me by a guy that was moving away and was going to flush them all if he couldn't find a home. Care advice is also appreciated, such as frequency and quantity of water changes, what and how much to feed them, which ones to separate using the divider shown in video... Thank you so much!
