Black Soldier Flies (BSF) larvae eating two fish

This video shows how the larvae of Black Soldier Flies (Hermetia Illucens) voraciously feed on organic waste. Two trout -- cooked and raw are put into a bin with larvae. The timer is in the bottom right hand corner. The cooked trout is rapidly devoured, whilst the raw fish takes a bit longer given it tough skin. After 24 hours both fish are eaten except for the bones.
