How To: Tank Prep for Worry-Free Vacations

A quick video on what I do before going on vacation so I don't worry about my fish while I'm gone...
1. Test your water in advance to make sure you have enough time to change your water if necessary before you leave.
2. Usually no need to feed your fish for up to a week (some people say 2 weeks).
3. If you need to feed you can use an automatic feeder device, a feeding block or ask someone to feed for you.
4. Make sure all the airline fittings are tight, light timers are set properly, heaters and filters (and all your other electrical devices) are securely plugged in.
5. Enjoy!
6. Think about your fish anyway. ;)
Thanks for watching!
