Blackmore goldfish care is fairly easy and can be learned fast. Don’t feed your Blackmoor goldfish crappy food sold from a chain pet store. Most of the brands are terrible quality. Buy some Omega One brand. Here is a link:

The Blackmoor is so ugly that it's cute! I want to go over some important details regarding taking proper care of these fish. I get a lot of emails regarding why their fish are dying and I want to help educate people before their fish die on them. http://blackmoorgoldfish.org/
Bubbles is not looking good, o noticed his eyes were looking cloudy last night and he was bottom sitting last night. I woke up this morning with him upside down on bottom of tank. Checked water parameters and Ammonia 0 nitrites 0 and nitrates 20... Ph is 8 which is all at a normal level... Last water change was Sunday. Everyone else looks fine in the tank. I removed him and put him in a 20g long for quarantine, with 4 tablespoons of salt. He is not pine coning and defiantly not floaty. Any idea what could of caused this? Also any other meds I should use? I have melafix, pimafix, paraguard (although no sign of parasites), oxytetracycline pellets, and metronidazole flakes all in my first aide kit.
It is amazing how so many are upset about how goldfish are released into a lake calling it animal abuse etc, don't get me wrong I am all for animal protection but there is nothing wrong with this method..wish people were as caring toward homeless people, and homeless children on the streets, those that can't afford a costly surgery for their kid etc...yet many are more concerned about how goldfish are released into a lake..amazing.
we may THINK its a stressful release... but we don't know for sure now do we. Just stabbing at the dark in my opinion. With nothing to stab at. Hey guys im getting an ised 55 gallon. On Thursday. Im notsure whati want to do with it yet i want to put just plants in it and then maybe add angel fish in there i havean 55 gallon with my goldies in it so any ideas whati should. Do with. It
Decided it was time to put Morgan, my poor little stunted shub, to sleep today. Despite being moved to an appropriate sized tank nearly a year ago I felt like her eye bulging was getting visibly worse as if her internal organs were still growing without the rest of her. And she was showing visible signs of pain (fin clamping and bottom sitting despite perfect parameters and regular parasite treatments) more often than not. I know she was only going to carry on slowly deteriorating and that she went quickly and peacefully via clove oil instead, but I still feel awful. Swim in peace Morgan, I hope I made the right decision for you.
Hey everyone! Ok, here's the deal. I've been plotting 👹 (much to my husband's dismay.. although i love his support and tolerance) on putting a fancy goldfish pond in my back yard next spring. I think i have it all worked out, except for one thing.....the neighborhood cat! normally my dogs do a good job at keeping him away, but ive spotted him in the yard a few times lately while the paw patrol is inside. Any advice? (Other than the whole BB gun method of course) thanks!
Robbie and Gretta are loving their new 40 gallon tank! Hopefully this will be adequate for a while because it might be some time before I have space for a 100 gallon or a dedicated fancies pond. The black pouches are gravel from their old tank for bacteria jump start. I will be working towards making a more natural environment for them. Suggestions welcome!
Excited and cant wait until next Friday. I'm picking this beauty up. 90 gallon acrylic with a built in integrated sump filter with protein skimmer along the back panel, stand, canopy and light. Down sizing alittle by selling twi current freshwater tanks and have wanted to dive into a saltwater tank and this one is perfect for that.
The corals seem super expensive for one piece. Do anenome fall under corals? I rememeber my cousin used to have an awesome setup but he messed up and bought this eel and it kept get stuck on this green broccoli looking plant. Had to pull him off a couple of times and it just died as the aragonite substrate just stuck to the eel and weighed him down. I say get dory I think that emperor angel? Or even lion fish are cool just can't stick your hands in the tank freely.
