Betta fish enjoy interaction. Especially if they are outgowing and have connected to you over the years. When you pick a Betta fish make sure they are health and look you in the eye. I have had Betta fish that hid all the time and were scared of the smallest noise. I have also had really agressive Betta fish that were not very much fun because they just flared all the time and wanted to bit me. Phee Phee here in this video is an example of a great Betta Fish friend. She is fun, loves to play, easy to teach. I have taught her tricks. Just look around on my page Fanofaestallings@Youtube to see all of her great traing videos. She is precious. She sees me and swims to greet me everyday. I feed her and we talk, well I talk and she intereacts by wiggling her head and fins. She flares at things she doesn't like. She is bigger than several of the male fish I have had but she is a female. How do I know for sure? She lays eggs and has an egg spot. In fact I am about to load a video where she tries to get a Lego minifigure mate with her and she drops eggs with him. It was ... well unusual. In this video I have a beach bag that is shaped like a fish OF COURSE being a fish lover. She at first flirts with it, the flares at it, then flirts some more. It was so cute. She didn't know what to think. As long as I stayed hidden she was able to focus on the fish purse. She knows my face and will get all dancy at me instead of flirting with the 2 foot fabric fish. How to care for your Betta fish is found at my channel.
