1 : Some basic information about Molly fish
2 : Tank setup for Molly fish : You have to keep 2 females and 1 male Molly fish, because during breeding season male Molly become aggressive towards female and will continuously chase the female .
3 : Tank size : Minimum 10 gallons tank is required , and their lifespan is 5 years
4 : After buying new fish from store ,you have to first acclimate the fish after that you have to release them in your tank
5 : If want to breed your fish , planted tank is required, so that fry could hide themselves from adult male and other mollies, you can use Amazon sword, Guppy grass.
6 : For tropical fishes heater is required so for Molly heater is also required and their temperature should be around 24 - 27 *C , and water pH - 6.5 - 8.5.
7 : you can use standard Aquarium light and in filter you can use sponge and hang on back filter , if your tank is small you can use extra aeration
8 : Feeding : You can feed them vegetables such as spinach and lettuce . You have to feed blood worm and tubeflex , 3-4 times per week .
9 : Change 50 % water per week .
10 : Tankmates : Any varieties of small fish such as tetras , platy and many more...
