Aquarium platy Fish Care is essential to know. These are the high quality flakes I was talking about (amazon link). I really swear by feeding my fish a top quality food even though it costs a couple more bucks.

Aquarium Platies are awesome fish. Platy Fish Care is pretty easy. We're fishkeepers and we like cheap stuff, this hobby is expensive enough. But some times the cheapo are too much towards laughable. Whats your best resale cheapo stories?
Mine is currently happening: kijiji user offering $10 on my 2yro canister filter (retailed 280$) and how greatful i should be for it on a used item im dying.
My favourite is when I'm selling a tank at best offer and someone says free.
It happens all to often. Was selling this 75g with a SunSun, Beamswork LED, all the plants and fish. Got offered under $40 more than once. https://youtu.be/LkeCvwzEaCA
I'm currently watching a 75 on a sale site dropping from 150 in sections. Currently at 75. I don't need it but if it hits 50...that bitch is mine. If it was just the tank, I'd of sold it for $50 or just give it to someone. It just makes me mad that the heater costed more than some of the offers. Ended up getting $200 though. http://www.molly-fish.com/mollies-or-platies
Too many poor people keeping fish and lowballing or asking for a direct handout I never started the hobby begging for free tanks I get mad when I see "wanted 55 or larger free tank" Platy Fish are also called Platies.
Lol I'll give away tanks after I take them down, I'll make a post and tag my local fish friends and first come first serve, Just to help their hobby. It's funny to see the beggars get mad that I didn't pick them tho. I'd almost rather they lowball me than ask me where I'm located after putting maps, city, state and zip code in every posting. Or the question that always follows "how far is that from Iowa?"

When I sold cichlids I'd pay say 100 plus for my breeding group then go to sell the babies at 2-3 inches and they'd offer you $2-$3 each lol I just laughed. Platy Fish are very friendly.
I threw a guy off my local group because he was lowballing and giving sob stories then turning around and selling the shit for profit. My goldfish has been unwell, so I am keeping him in quarantine. He has been there for a month, and isn’t showing much sign of getting better. The quarantine e tank is only five gallons. Should, I upgrade it? It’s normal tank is heaps bigger. Will he get stunted form a couple of months in a small tank? I have a tank I can buy on buy swap sell, but I don’t want to spend money unnecessarily. Thanks.
He has ich that hasn’t been clearing up overly well. He also has been bottom sitting. I’m hoping on one day returning him to the og tank, but I don’t want to risk infecting the others. Think of this Maybe. I’ve asked multiple fish forums, but no one has really given me a definite answer. I was using ich medication for a month, but nothing changed, and people said it would do more harm than good, so I’ve stopped. All I’ve been doing is every second day water changes, aquarium salt and stress coat.
I removed it firstly because it was bottom doing then I saw what I thought was ich. I’m not really sure, so I’m just using stress coat, aquarium salt and lots of water changes, as some people have said medication can be harmful. I personally don't think any size tank is really beneficial for him. I would find him a pond. And that's a good diet if the pellets aren't heavy on the protein.
Has this been happening for 3 months? How is your other goldfish and do u still have the danios with them? The five gallon tank is not helping this goldie.
The other goldfish is fine. I’m still working on finding another home for the danios, but at the moment they’re doing fine. The white spots are a relatively recent thing that happened about a month ago. I separated the goldfish a month and a half ago because of the clamped fins, swimming problems and blood in the fins. You said the five gallon tank is bad for the fish, so you think I should, go ahead and get the bigger tank? I’m pretty sure I want to keep the goldfish separated until I’m sure he’s well. Thanks so much.
Also, the normal tank is thirty gallons, the five gallon is a temporary hospital tank, but because he’s been there so long I’m thinking of upgrading it to around a twenty gallon.
