Aquarium bichir fish care. The Senegal and ornate bichir fish tanks are the most popular. Feeding these guys should be heavy protein based. I like to use sinking shrimp pellets. Here is a link:

Sun Suns break, countless stories, first the UV sterilizer breaks, then eventually something else. You get what you pay for, get a tried and true, decades tested, trusted and beloved Fluval, spend the money and don't buy crap you will have to eventually replace with a Fluval.
That is the cheapest one that is brand new on eBay, it’ll be in your house by January 11 if you buy today, and you can know that you’re buying from the best company on the market, enjoy. Yes of course, You will notice an immediate difference, that’s what happens when you buy the best piece of machinery that’s why I only buy the best and try to encourage people not to try to go cheap on things of such importance, in the end after money wasted , you stil have to buy the good stuff when the bad stuff brakes plus fish may die, other problems you know.
I'm losing my dwarf gourami to Iridovirus (dwarf gourami disease). It's heartbreaking and can't let go of him yet, ny angel isn't ready it's her/his best friend. he's losing colour don't want to eat for the past 2 days and just sleeping most of the time. I've heard rumors that if you can keep him on a hammock up close to the surface and bubbler bteayge for him he might live. Buy I think it takes a solid 2 weeks of that and there is no hard guarantee.
When I first started in this hobby I never had any luck with DG. Haven't had any for years. Most of them you see in LFS/big box store look sick, hiding, sitting at the bottom of the tank. I've had my dwarfy for a year and a month he was doing so well then all of a sudden he gets lethargic etc and I know there's no cure. And that euthanising him would be best but my angel is already sulking because his/her friend isn't playing he/she is always by dwarfy's side. And dwarfy is one of my favorites so euthanising him isn't an easy decision.
ok I've used the wrong words to describe what's going on. And I wouldn't let him suffer because I'm not a cruel person. I have however after that message or post euthanised him because he got worse. And fish does have personality (sounds weird). And now that he's gone, now my angel is hiding and not eating. Calibration might be off. Do you have an indicator to show when it comes on? Mine is off my 6 degrees so I have it set to 84 to keep the water at 78.
I dont know if anyone already knows this or if everyone around the world can use this. But i got these two nee fake plants for 4$ off an app called joom! I love them so much for a mom i have to really watch how much i spend and the pet stores are always so expensive! For anyone else like me who has a tight budget try joom out! They all alot of fish items super cheat!
ive never soent more the longest anything has taken was 3 weeks but i dont mind for the price i dont have any actual fish stores around me an my dollar trees an stuff dont sell much for fish. So what's in my fishroom, the second video is my basement tanks. This is what I have and what's growing on either for myself or to sell at a later date. The first video is my upstairs display tank.
First tank is a 29g grow out and it has a lenticulata pike. Second tank is a 55g grow out and it has 6 gold mahseers and a tiger shovel nose. Third tank in my planted 125g wild Altum tank that's in my living room. Fourth tank is my 210g and it has a gold clown knife, 2 Zebrina pikes, 2 azul bass, flagtail prochilodus, 24" fire eel and a distichodus atroventralis. My fifth and final tank is a 220g and it has my 11 member frontosa group.
I would like to report a miracle....Long post: 4 months after a CO2 equipment failure induced catastrophic tank crash killing $500 worth of rainbows and others- I returned home from vacation to warm fish soup - that was cooking for upto a week. My basement smelled like rotted meat. 4 months of water changes almost 4x week and vacuuming as often, keeping filters clean- no success in lowering a massive nitrate level that skyrocketed after the giant mass-death induced recycling. ( tank is overfiltered FX4,EHEIM 4 AND EHEIM 3 on a 125).
I could not get it down. despite efforts and lots of great plants. I added BIOHOME ultra media ( that comes from the UK) 3 months ago that I had researched that is supposed to greatly enhance anaerobic bacteria colonization ( which eat nitrate) to canisters over many weeks. I know it would take 3-4 months for results of anaerobic seeding. I was Close to giving up as nitrates remained off the chart, afraid to re-add fish. Plants loving it- no fish but for 2 heroic otocat survivors) all this time.
