What Happens to Culled Guppies Not Used for Breeding Nor Sold to Petstores?

At my friend's place, culled guppies are very lucky fish! They get to live out their lives in the wet-side of aquaponic systems. Culls include fish with crooked spines, swim bladder disorders, among other faults that make them unsuitable for breeding or from even being sold to pet stores.
With ample space and pristine water quality, these few culled guppies grow big and fast and make a colorful addition to these otherwise plain troughs. Being well-fed on pelletized fish meal, the tilapia in these tubs do not seem to prey on the guppies.
The strains of guppies in these tubs include Micariff based, Purple Mosaics, Blue Eagles, and Japan Blues.
