My aquarium Jack Dempsey fish are showing breeding behavior. Should I breed these fish or just split them up in different tanks. Could I sell some jack Dempsey fish to you guys?

Thank you very much. It just that our floor is carpeted on the basement so I was trying to find less leaking tank. I looked at Acrylic tank too and looked good but top seems like not coming off with 2 rectangle opening.I was not sure how easy it is to put everything in or easy/not interfere with water change time etc besides cost being high.
I see petco got cheap tank only sale, not kit. If we buy say Aqueon 10 gallon tank, for example, I heard you need to buy the hinged glass lid separately sold. I have not seen the lid myself so I do not know what it is like but people were writing review that lid does not fit snug but makes gap.Is it normal? Also, those lid comes with bulb or any lighting spot to put on?
Also... I would like to know.. What is the good size for grow out tank?
Our guppy had 2 fry so far (just 2 days old) and I have not seen any more in the tank but at this moment, I have been separating the fry from mama and papa in the breeder basket.
Since I read growing them in the breeding box for 1 month or so to become the size mama papa cannot eat them anymore is not good for the fry's health,I am thinking of transferring them to the grow out tank, but we got only one main tank and we are planning to get one tank for them to grow. We got very tiny 2 fry so, size would be ok with 5 gallons? Has to be bigger?
When fry is not in there anymore,I am thinking to use that tank for quarantine tank;probably 1-3 fish would live there probably for a bit to get into my future bigger tank.
Would you tell me if I can do this and safe/ok for fry to live in; when we do water change next time, we put that water we take out from main tank go into the new grow out tank to be, and then, add some gravel from main tank and some plants from there and add treated new water in to fill up and squeeze the filter from main tank in the new one, and run the filter and.. fry goes in.
Is it ok process? How soon fry can be in that new grow out tank?Immediate?Because we will be using the water from main tank along with gravel and plants? The female guppy that I thought is fry dropper looks still very pregnant but I have not seen any more fry in the tank.
I was imagining more like you wake up to find tonz of fry in the tank but by the time we find 2 fry, tank mates or mama, papa ate them? Is it common guppy mom release only a few fry and done? Sorry,I have many questions.I am new.... Thank you.
Thanks guys! My tank is next to a window so it gets a lot of sunlight and additional algae growth. I try to do my best to clean it, but lately, it’s getting all over the glass, and is unappealing to look at. The shrimp probably love it though hahah
otto catfish. mayb reduce lighting hour? beside finding algae removing solution, mayb also try to find the reason of the algae. if you r going to remove the algae using scrubber then mayb clean the front side for view and leave the side glass for the shrimps to eat.
I don't grow algae anymore. I feed appropriately. My lights are on a timer with sun-up/down. I have a ton of plants. Down what little algae I do have, I've got snails.
Is this a sign of starving? I used to feed them twice a day but members said it's a way of killing. So starting from yesterday, I fed once a day and they are often running around the tank. After feeding them, they calm down.
I feed Hikari shrimp cuisine. Just a little amount of pellets that they can consune within 10 minutes. I think this is not because of parameters cuz I found no dead within a week. Any advice please.
