Hey everyone, Happy Easter! Here's my Red Cheek Sunset Sailfin Molly displaying for some of the females in the tank. This male has been displaying all week practically asking for a video.
Sailfin displays are a great sign that males are healthy as it requires a lot of energy to put them on. Wild varieties of the sailfin molly (Poecilia Velifera & Poecilia Latipinna) are reliant on their sailfin displays in order to attract females and keep them in their territories. In addition to this males, will use the sailfin displays to keep other males at bay.

Jungle Vallisneria, Java Fern, Anubias, Amazon Sword, Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri), Anacharis, Hornwort.
