ENGLISH ANNOTATION WILL BE PROVIDED SOON.
Jewel fish is a cannibal of African Congo river origin. In this video eggs attached to the inner surface of a Tea cup kept in the tank and parent fishes stirring the stagnant water to make it FLOW as in a river are shown. This is in fact fourth breeding of this pair. In the first batch nearly three dozen offspring survived. They are shown in my earlier video - Jewel fish in GEM mosquito control. In the second batch only 2 or three survived. In the third one there are more survivals at this point of time. Don't know how many will mature. All three batches were bred in an external cement tank. This time the adult pair is moved to the internal glass tank to make observation & recording easy. But I did not expect the egg laying to happen so soon. That's why I missed that event. Will be more watchful next time & get PART 1 of the series.
