How to Care Sex and Breed Molly Fish
Mollies are one of those most popular fish in the aquarium hobby. The molly is slightly harder to keep than most live-bearers but still relatively hardy. For the most part, mollies are very easy to breed. A single female can produce over one hundred baby mollies.

The first step to breeding guppies and mollies is to pick the right fish. Look for large, active fish. You should also feed the parents lots of high-quality fish foods like brine shrimp, bloodworm, fruit flies and other meaty food to get them into spawning condition.

The molly fish is a live-bearer, which means that its eggs are internally gestated until highly developed fry are born. In any aquarium that contains both male and female mollies, you should try to maintain a ration of three females to every male.
