In this video I have mainly explained about the breeding procedure of platy fish.....
1 : Some basic information about the gourami fish breeding . They are bubble nester , like Betta fish .The male Gourami make bubble nest in which he kept the eggs untill the eggs fertilize.
2 : Tank set up for Gourami fish Breeding.
3 : Selection of the breeding pair
4 : Giving hiding place such as rocks , pebels , driftwood and live plant to the breeding tank.
5 : Breeding tank or tank made of cement should be of 30 gallons
6 : Releasing of the breeding pair to the breeding tank.
7 : Wait until spawning
8 : After spawning separate the femlae gourami to the other tank , male will protect the fry. After 3-4 days eggs will be hatched after that you can seperate male gourami.
9 : Special care to the fry
10 : Use methylene blue liquid and maintain PH - 7
11 : Maintain 26 * C temperature
12 : Their first food should be daphnia or crushed pellets
13 : Have to maintain proper schedule for giving food
14 : Tank setup for the fry
15 : Tank size should be of 20 gallon
16 : proving hiding hiding place such as rocks and
Driftwood
17 : Giving sponge filter
18 : After two transfer of the fry to the community tank.
