Halfmoon betta fish breeding HD

My blue OHM male betta mating with a steel blue halfmoon female. I could have prepared way better than this but the female's eggs were too mature that some started to slip out uncontrollably so this mating was quite urgent. I've had the couple meeting each other every day for a short period for a few days by the time I decided to breed them so the female had no problem at all accepting the male. Both fishies were inexperienced but my boy did a good job carrying out the embrace :). The female was not helping picking the eggs at all, she's been eating them all the time. My male couldn't figure out the difference between unfertilized eggs and fertilized ones so he picked up all he could. 20-ish eggs ended up surviving from the female and I'm not even sure how many were fertilized. I just hope this beautiful couple could have some babies hatched :) I will update if things go well.
