In the video I am discussing how Endler's livebearers and Guppies mate and reproduce. Not only do I mention the science surrounding mating and breeding these beautiful fish, but I also managed to catch the exact moment when the male impregnated the female.
Hopefully this video will help you understand endler and guppy behavior, including their mating dance, in order to better predict breeding compatibility.
This is a short educational video which captured the mating dance and behavior of a male Endler, who was flashing and flaring his body while also actively changing colors from blue and lavender to green and metalic blue with yellow tail fin highlights.
The two fish in the video are a male blue Japanese andler and a female bluegrass true bread guppy, whom is far larger.
