Flowerhorn is a hybrid fish that are based on one of the earliest man-made hybrid fish: the blood parrot. Since the first #flowerhorn, often called luohans, flowerhorn cichlids have been hybridized with dozens of other cichlids. Their genetic history is unknown and varies greatly with each strain.
Flowerhorn is said to bring its owner lots of prosperity, luck and good fortune in everything ranging from wealth and fame to love and happiness. Those real hobbyists and fish lovers will even stretch their hands into the tank and play with the Luo Han, which behaves just like a little puppy.

✎ AROWANA™
Arowanas are freshwater bony fish of the family Osteoglossidae, also known as bonytongues. In this family of #fish, the head is bony and the elongated body is covered by large, heavy scales, with a mosaic pattern of canals. The dorsal and anal fins have soft rays and are long based, while the pectoral and ventral fins are small. The #arowana is a facultative air breather and can obtain oxygen from air by sucking it into its swim bladder, which is lined with capillaries like lung tissue.
Arowana are one of the attractive #aquarium fish they are aggressive, high jumpers and uniquely mouth brooders. They originate from South America and found in several Asian rivers and lakes as well.
Arowana are strong powerful swimmers, and can be fairly aggressive at times. They are a predator fish that can grow up to 4 foot in size and weigh in excess of 6kg. When raised in captivity you should expect an Arowana to have a lifespan of 10-15 years.
