Rabbit Shaming: Should Bunnies be in Cages?

Dislike 0 Published on 12 Aug 2019

Are you being RABBIT SHAMED? Can rabbits live part time in cages, or do they have to free roam in the house? Don't be bullied into thinking all rabbit cages are bad or you are a bad pet owner because your bunny doesn't free roam all day!

Due to safety reasons and personal circumstances, it is often necessary for your bunny to have a large cage or enclosure for when they cannot be supervised roaming the house. If your bunny is safe in a spacious area and receives frequent exercise and attention, an exercise pen, room, or large cage can be just fine at night or when pet owners aren't available to supervise bunny. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for pet rabbit habitats. Find a rabbit care solution that works for you and is kind/safe for the bunny.
