Alfred (Big Al to his buds) is an adorable little bunny! His charming personality quickly made him the best-loved and most-cuddled bun among the shelter volunteers. One who kept him in foster care calls him her "little bun man" and says he's "a cottonball full of energy" who "loved to run 360's around the outside of his exercise pen first thing in the morning." Al appears a bit stressed by shelter life, where his litterbox habits have been spotty, but his foster mom reported that they were excellent when he was in her home, and his former owners (who had rabbit allergies) also said he had excellent litterbox habits. He can be a bit crabby when you reach into his cage. That may just be shelter stress, but it suggests he might not do well with small children. With his adult friends, though, he is simply delightful. His foster mom says he blossomed in her care. When he's out for playtime at the shelter, he loves exploring the cardboard tubes and boxes in the play area, and he loves to be petted. And petted. And petted! Will you open your heart and home to him? You can visit Big Al in Room H. For more information about Alfred, or any other house rabbit questions, email rabbits@cahs-pets.org.
