Madagascar Programme (21st June 2013) Rabbits Section, Vet's Section and Garden Section

After the success of the tv programme dedicated to pets -- MADAGASCAR (ID-DINJA TAL-ANNIMALI), Micabliss Group is preparing to air another programme for the coming schedule 2012 -- 2013 starting next October.
The programme will include informative topics about pets focusing more on cats and dogs. There are going to be features from the medical aspect where a vet Dr Mereille Vella will speak about and give hands on experience starting from a visit to the vet up to an operation.
There is going to be a section dedicated to nutrition, where the televiewers will learn about the basic elements of pet nutrition and the ingredients one should look for when going to buy pet food. One should always look for quality rather than quantity when looking for good nutritional food for the pets. The guest speaker Matthew Wismayer will give detailed information about healthy nutrition.
Two sections are going to be focused on the different breeds we have in Malta as regards cats and dogs. In the section dedicated to cats Rodianne Caligari will speak in detail about the nature of cats and their needs. Besides she will speak about history of the felines together with information about cat shows held in Malta and also about the cat club Malta Feline Guardians Club. In the other section dedicated to dogs, Dennis Schiberras will give detailed information about the breeds participating in dog shows, their standard, how they should be trained and kept in their spic and span condition. Besides this, the speaker will go into detail about the breed and its origin and also other aspects such as nutrition, grooming, exercise and health.
There is going to be a section dedicated to this aspect where the groomer Malvina Ceccarelli will give hints about basic items one should do take in consideration when having a pet at home. Many topics are going to be discussed starting from simple topics, such as brushing the fur to much more difficult topics such as removing the fur of the pet. This can be done for several reasons. Since we love pets and we would like to give them the very best, we want our pets to live in the comfort in our homes.
Last and not least we will be having a feature about plants and gardens. Those with a green hand will find the topic interesting since Melosaul Balzan will be giving many hints about how to take care of the plants, balconies, gardens and also our indoors. The programme is being produced by Kevin Charles Micallef and presented by Joanne Mifsud Micallef.
