Fourth of July Rabbit Room Tour
Hi bunny gang! Today we will tour the rabbit room. I have made several updates to the bunny room & decorated for the 4th of July. I also moved Cheri, the newest rescue bunny, into an XL Dog crate. Rabbit Housing: on this channel we promote minimum cage size standards according to the House Rabbit Society, "one guideline to go by is at least 8 square feet of enclosure space combined with at least at least 24 square feet of exercise space, for 1-2 rabbits, in which the rabbit(s) can run and play at least 5 hours per day." You should select a cage size based on the size of exercise space & lifestyle. We have a rabbit room in which the bunnies take turns free roaming in throughout the day. In the links below I have found a store cage that is over 4’x2’ & meets these minimum requirements for a reasonable price.
