WVU 2011 Spanish Festival

The Spanish Department at West Virginia University has an annual Spanish Festival that celebrates Spanish culture outside of the traditional classroom. Students participate by attending various workstations, and by completing a comprehension worksheet that evaluates their understanding of the event, Teaching assistants are responsible for creating displays and participating as coordinators or character actors during the hour and a half long exercise. The 2011 Festival focused on Mexico's Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead.
