Horse walking, trotting and cantering on a treadmill

This short video shows a horse walking, trotting and cantering on a treadmill as part of a demo in a course I taught at Cal Ploy, Pomona, California. Whilst I have trained several hundred horses to exercise on a treadmill, it occurred to me that not everyone has seen a horse do this. It is amazing how quickly they learn and how balanced they are - often better than they are with a rider!!!
