The basic core Pilates exercise Half Roll back can be developed into a slightly more sports specific movement. primarily a spinal articulation and control movement, it is a fabulous corse strengthener, but more importantly - it requires control of the core.
Now ideally we want a line from elbow, wrist, horses mouth; so in the set up i have in the video a lower line of pull would possible be better, if you can achieve this.
try and keep the arms, elbows , wrist and hands soft and relaxed as possible, avoiding tensing up, you do not want them rigid but sift and moving. You should not be gripping the handles for dear life - you are not hanging off the edge of a cliff
