My name is Jill. I am a C6-7 quadraplegic, you can see me describe it in the video. I'm paralyzed from my midchest to my toes, no voluntary movement or sensation. I have limited use of my hands...no grip. You'll see me lean over in the video, well I have learned so much from this video too. I was so impressed with being able to lean over and not hold onto anything. I felt before I saw the video I almost was laying on my lap. What I realized is I'm not moving half as much as I felt I was. Which isn't bad, any top movement I've always panicked and my family was always reassuring me I wasn't going anywhere. Now I see what they see, plus I'm still proud to lean even that much still for starters. I would've never reached for the reins like I do either. But being paralyzed this high it has been a balance game for 20 plus years, so ALL my movements have just become controlled out of 2nd nature. So when I was a bit wobbly it would scare me to death. But I love it so much I wouldn't quit either. So after getting Poco my Equicizer, being able to challenge myself on something that felt and sat real but was NOT going to move was the greatest deal...this is just the beginning!
