Working multiple dogs at a time – Snowleaf Miniature Australian Shepherds

Working with six dogs here, two of them mine, four of them guest dogs. This is the first time these six are together in a pack. Two of them are eleven years old, the youngest is two. We've been for a walk before taking this exercise. The two black dogs have only just learned this exercise. The build-up was a "stay" and call of the individual dogs at very close distance, going back to every single dog and rewarding the stay after each individual recall. Not perfect, but good enough for a day's work, especially given the distraction of passersby. This is a nice exercise when walking a pack of dogs. When they are more advanced, I usually start to play ball or tug with the dog called while the others have to "stay". Very good impulse control exercise while also proviging high reward! :-)
