Sit to Stand on Incline Therapeutic Exercise - Canine Physical Rehabilitation

This is the same exercise as the regular sit-to-stand but is performed on an incline. The incline adds an extra challenge for dogs that are more advanced in their treatment. In this particular instance, the ramp is propped on a soft pad that makes the ramp slightly unstable so the dog also needs to balance while walking up the ramping and during the sit exercise. All these layers of an exercise work together to challenge the dog to build all her muscles symmetrically.
These exercises are a great way to physically condition your dog but also help strength your bond with them and provide them with mental stimulation. Exercises should only be performed after receiving a diagnosis and prescription for physical rehabilitation from a licensed veterinarian to ensure that the exercises are safe for your pet's particular condition.
