Dogs: Advanced Recall Games

For TOY obsessive dogs!
Make Recalls = the FUN starts with YOU and very soon you will have AWESOME Recalls!
For this exercise to be succesful and more fun, your dog needs to have a love of toys and a good 'Leave it' off items.
My dogs have also been conditioned to the word 'wrong' meaning didnt want that behaviour try another. I do not use this word much at all, but it is in our vocabulary if i want to quicken learning and give more understanding of what i want.. I would use this word if i was not quick enough with the leave it and they grabbed the ball and brought it back when they shouldnt have.
i would say 'wrong' to them and not offer ball play fun and carry out the exercise again.
Think that only happened once with BArney & once with Inca when setting off with these games initially, they are now 100per cent accurate at coming off their balls and coming straight away:))
The Wrong word was introduced by placing food in a fist and having another hand open (with no food in), when they went to sniff the food hand, i said wrong and clicked as soon as they touched the other hand. They soon understood that wrong meant try something else.
It is not a word to use often though and it only depends on your dog. It is not a word i would ever use on Jaffa, as he would start shutting down, but Barney & Inca are more clicker wise, used to throwing behaviours at me, that an odd wrong would be ok with them.
