Hey gang, it's Day 7 of Christmas/E-Collar DVD preview! In this clip we take a look at the "Place" command and how slowing the dog's mind down with stationary/duration work and mental exercises do far more to create a relaxed, calm dog than just activity alone. Of course we want our dogs to have plenty of physical exercise, but most dogs don't have an "off" switch, so regardless of how much you exercise them, they never learn how to simply relax and exist when necessary. Duration "Place" command is the perfect answer for this common dog issue; and as you see in the video, Magoo hasn't lost his fun and silly side, he's just learned to have both the calm and the crazy. :)
