Scent and Search Behavioral Exercise for A Saint Bernard Puppy

In this episode of the Toronto Dog Whisperer we take a 4.5 month old Saint Bernard puppy through her first scent and search exercise.
This is a fun and easy way to satisfy a dogs need to use their nose. We challenge Leelu to use her mind and her nose to find a tasty duck wing.
There's nothing wrong with simply putting food in a dish for your dog to eat, but this exercise will engage your dogs mind and nose while providing food.
Simply spread the scent of some food around your backyard or empty park and watch your dog pick up the scent to search out a tasty treat!
They will feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction!
