Pastured Meat Chickens Raised On Small Farm

Not all chickens are raised in overcrowded warehouses, standing in fecal matter, stressed, bored and fed antibiotics at every single meal. Small farmed, pastured chickens range outdoors, get lots of exercise, eat bugs, grass and, if lucky like ours, fed only certified organic grain. Raised in this healthy, relatively stress free environment means no antibiotics are needed. This video shows chickens seemingly doing what birds should naturally do, enjoying the natural environment. At one point in the video a young chicken finds a bug and the others are chase it frantically around the entire (electric) fenced in area. (Reminding me of football players running after the guy with the ball.) There are two ages of chickens shown free-ranging together. The youngest are about 6 weeks, the others are at harvest/process age, at 10 weeks (2.5 months).
