Molly is the country's first Cat Detection Dog trained specifically using scent match recognition to find cats that have been injured in accidents, cats that are sick or cats that are believed to be trapped in buildings the latest team member to join the pet detectives UK.
This video shows how Molly, our cat detection dog, works. To begin, Molly is presented with a jar containing the scent of the cat we want her to find. Once she has been given the scent she will then proceed to search the area for the cat. Once she has found the scent she will lie down to show the handler that the cat is in that area and will then be rewarded.
