Mallard Duck Feeding in Backyard in Winter 2018

Dislike 0 Published on 11 Feb 2018

On Feb 6, 2018 this male mallard flew through my Topeka yard and landed where I scatter a mix of cracked corn, milo, wheat, and millet for the wild birds. In my 20 + years of feeding the birds I've never had a mallard except in spring when they come to my pond. He didn't stay long but what an unexpected treat.
