Epic morning rush today, well not really but with the warm weather we are having the ducks don’t want to spend the day in the pen.
It’s really interesting how when the weather is brutally cold and nasty they don’t want to leave the pen, but when it’s nice out it’s duck party time.
Egg recon today netted a whooping 14 eggs we’re back in the duck egg business again.
The ducks headed straight for the tub drain outside of the pen to play in the water when I drained the tub, they have a one track mind, water.
The duck sex courting that is going on is crazy, that’s all the females are doing is courting the drakes to get done, them are lucky drakes.
Total weight of the duck liver I have frozen gets weighed today, I’ve got enough duck liver for years.
Going to make a new hanging rack for inside my roasting pan for doing roasted duck, after spending 2 days cleaning my oven taking it apart scrubbing it I’ve got to come up with a way to limit the amount of splatter inside the oven.
