3 little goslings are doing great this morning, but I’m up far too early today Dug got me up at 4 am and I was outside with the ducks before 5.
I can’t believe how much water the ducklings are drinking in the back of the barn, I put 2 water jugs in with them and they almost drank it all by 4;45am.
Today is a serious work day I’ve got to get the grid set up in the pen for cover for the ducks, so I can kick the 26 day old ducks out of the barn and they can be with the adult ducks.
The Muscovy duck mothers are seriously protecting the ducklings, they are putting up a wall of protection around the ducklings.
This morning the ducks and ducklings gave us 5 morning rushes, well the last one was small though.
Super hot and humid day, a perfect day to be setting grids up in the middle of the pen, NOT!
