The colder weather is back and now the ducks don’t want to leave the pen, I came out earlier today and opened the gate for them and about 90-120 minutes later the ducks hadn’t come out except the one set of tracks that came out and went right back into the pen.
Egg recon today wasn’t that good some one is breaking eggs it can’t be the chickens they are gone now.
It wasn’t cold enough to stop the ducks from wanting to get sprayed with the garden hose while I was filling up the bath tub for them, they line up to get nailed.
I don’t think Dug’s previous owner ever shovelled snow the way he thinks it’s a game when I do it, it’s frustrating as hell but it makes me laugh while I’m doing a job which isn’t something you would normally laugh when doing.
The ducks spent the day laying low the temperature was only -5°C but it was really windy, which I know the ducks don’t like the wind.
