Came out the back door this morning and there was a huge hawk sitting in the tree watching the duck pen, he was waiting for the ducks but the extreme cold lock down I put the ducks under at 5 am foiled his plan.
The temperature was -17.9°C and with the wind on top it made it feel like -30°C, there is no way the ducks can be outside in this kind of weather.
Today I have to go on a road trip to get duck pellets and more straw from the farmer, I’ve only got 3 bales left and I’m going to be burning through straw with this extreme arctic cold weather lockdown.
