5;30am outside fixing a dead short in the electric fence, it was really nice out last night and ducks got to stay outside but the wind picked up when the temperature started to drop. Which must of caused the fence to short out, I noticed it from my bedroom window when I was getting up that it was flashing red.
Did a quick egg recon outside to get any eggs they laid while they were out last night before the eggs freeze.
The weather man was right the temperature dropped drastically and the wind seriously picked up, it was actually not that cold out on the thermometer but the wind chill is dangerously cold, I could feel my face burning just the short time I’m out doing my chores.
According to the internet weather office the wind chill was -27°C in the middle of the day, and last night it was only -3°C and the ducks were having an all night kegger party things changed quick here.
No choice but to keep the ducks in lock down for their own good today, so I’m back to being water boy again.
