Got Dugs quill out of his nose this morning while he was still half asleep, but it did wake him up quick when I pulled it out with my teeth though.
The ducks morning rush is still a confusing event but they are getting more and more focused on going to the lake, they are wasting next to no time to get to the water.
Nothing like a 7am swim in the lake in the duck world, if you’re a duck, plus I can’t believe how far away the ducks are going from the property on the lake, right to the other side.
Feed run today and on the way back I’m going to pick up my buddy so I can get him to row the boat while I cut the mouth of the creek back.
The most bizarre wound yet I’ve seen on a duck, this poor little duck has had all of its skin ripped off its neck, it had to been a raptor of some sort to do this kind of damage.
