Wood Duck male landing, feeding and taking off - with slow motion

The sound is mostly a single Spring Peeper (frog). The slow motion segments are at 10% speed. I hid at the pond and stayed very quiet hoping for a visit from a Wood Duck. Wish granted! He stayed for four minutes. I'm pretty sure it was a tadpole that he caught. The Wood Duck or Carolina Duck (Aix sponsa) breeds around wooded swamps, shallow lakes, marshes, ponds and creeks. They nest in tree cavities, but will use nesting boxes. Unlike most other ducks, the Wood Duck has sharp claws for perching in trees. Filmed in the Missouri Ozarks, USA, on March 27 2017.
