The last two days of weather has been crazy, first it rained for 24 hours solid covered everything in a sheet of ice then it started to snow for the next day.
So now every where is slippery with the snow on top of the ice, and the ducks played in the rain all day and got totally soaked and made the barn into a slop fest so now I have to clean the barn out today.
Egg recon netted out 40 eggs today, I didn’t video it this morning I was so tried I just didn’t have it in me to pick up the camera, sorry.
When I came out to clean the barn and change their water the ducks were really quite until they saw me and they all hell broke lose and they started quacking big time.
Turn out they wanted out of the pen really bad once they figured out the gate was open they were off to the races.
Moe the Muscovy drake is really working the females they are getting really dirty but he seems to not be doing Survivor duck the Muscovy female from last year, she is as white can be not a sign of any mating action on her.
Dug is having a really hard time with spring, all the noises in the bush is driving him nuts and the crows are sending him over the edge, he’s really gotten super protective of the property this spring.
