Today is really the 1st day of winter and its freaking cold out -18°C, I left Dug inside and I’m doing a quick egg recon and then I’m going to herd the ducks back into the barn.
-5°C later in the day is the forecast but it didn’t get that warm plus there was a breeze during the day so the ducks basically did nothing but lay low, can’t blame them.
I’ve got a destructive goose trying to eat the power cord to the bath tub heater, thankfully I put a heavy rubber garden hose over the power cord so they can’t chew through it, I just hope the heater can take the pounding.

Today I’ve got to do a job which I’ve been putting off since I broke my hand, I have to re-arrange my freezers in the house and the garage and get an inventory of what I have for food (veggies) for the next year since my garden was a flop this year.
