Stalled letting the ducks out of the pen this morning, I figured if I made them wait an extra hour they would give us a better and more focused rush to the lake.
Dug got some problems in his healing, he’s getting a fluid build up in his neck so I’m only letting him out for part of the day, he’s back to being locked up in the house again, back to the vet on Tuesday and we’ll see what the vet has to say.
It was quite a job getting the whole flock of ducks to the lake today, and as soon as I turned my back the Muscovy ducks started sneaking back to the yard.
I kept the pen locked up all day so the ducks couldn’t get into the pen and eat, I figure if I take the incentive away from them to come home during the day maybe they will stop coming back during the day.
At the end of the day the Muscovy were the last ones to go into the pen and of course since I had the camera out to show you how easy it is to put the ducks in the pen at night they didn’t co-operate.
