The day turned out beautiful considering we started out today with an duck ice jam at the mouth of the creek, it was actually swim suit weather it was so warm in the sun.
12°C in the shade and the water temperature was 6°C or about 44°F not exactly swimming temperature though.
Took Dug in the boat with me this afternoon instead of leaving him at the house or letting him run free to only hurt his shoulder.
It was actually a sad day with the cull fast approaching, but mother nature gave us a beautiful afternoon to enjoy one last nice day on the lake with the ducks.
Last duck afternoon on the lake and then the otter showed up and ruined for everyone, Dug had ants in his pants all afternoon I think he knew the otter was around he certainly got upset when the ducks panicked.
