My friend and I spent a long weekend in December 2009 at the Southern Cross Ranch in Madison, GA riding horses, eating plentiful Southern and German cuisine, and generally relaxing and thoroughly enjoying an end-of-semester/end-of-year mini-vacation. I can't recommend this place enough.
