The weather has turned for the duck adventure in a good way, it’s a beautiful -2°C with a forecasted high today of +5°C and it’s even going to get warmer tonight.
The next 2 days are seriously warming up also with a high of +16°C on Monday but with rain.
I can’t believe how bright it is at 7am today normally it’s not this bright out, I actually checked the clock 3 times this morning because I couldn’t believe the time with how bright it was outside.
I’ve added 2 more people to the cull crew, I’ve got a 3rd professional to help with the actual cull and I’ve got a person coming just to bag the ducks and weigh them.
My left elbow is killing me now with the amount of work I’ve been made to do with it since I broke my hand, I can’t win for pain this year on the duck adventure, it’s been a real test on my body.
I totally forgot to have a weigh scale set up on the first attempt of the cull so today I configured a weigh station with a tarp to cover it for the rain that is coming.
At the end of the day the ducks didn’t want to go back into the pen, they actually stayed out in the yard watching me build the fire at the end of the day, it’s like they knew it was their last day.
