5 am today the ducks started seriously quacking to get out of the pen, actually they started to get revved up around 4;30 am with the full moon out.
Using the big gate has really made the morning rush much more of a calm event for the ducks, they are not piling up on top of each other to get out of the pen now.
Dug took over the morning rush to the swamp today, I barely gave him any commands he’s starting to really get the hang of moving the ducks around and knows what I’m trying to do here on the property.
It was funny this morning Dug actually wanted to come outside when I first came out to let the ducks out, he’s now pretty excited to herd the ducks in the morning he seems to want to make me happy.
Dug and I got into the canoe and went out to the lake with the ducks this morning on the lake, it was so funny when I was getting the canoe off the logs I have it sitting on in the swamp Dug actually grabbed the canoe with his mouth and was chewing on trying to help me move it. I got the canoe flipped over on the ground and he hoped inside it before it was even in the water, he’s pretty excited to get in the canoe now.
When Dug and I came back from the lake this morning there was a bunch of ducks that came back to the yard, Dug and I took them back to the lake and then I started my day.
