Mother Nature is playing another cruel joke on us with Old Man Winter, it was only suppose to go down to -22°C and I woke up at 6 am and it was -32°C, plus a nasty wind.
Thankfully last night I had a hunch it was going to get colder than it was suppose to and came down at 10pm and cover the door to the barn when I gave them water.
In less than 5 hours the temperature has gone from -32°C at 6am to -8°C 11am, starting to feel like spring is coming.
The tub froze last night, that is the 2nd time this winter it has frozen I honestly can’t remember the bathtub freezing last winter like it is this year.
I’m going to clean the barn out tomorrow since the ducks are out today the barn can wait, but it’s starting to get wet smelling in the barn thankfully they are outside today.
I had to go to town and I did a double check of the electric fence to make sure it was on and Survivor Duck the Muscovy female escaped the pen the only way for that is she flew out, she is officially back to normal now.
