Weather is turning for the better but only for this afternoon and then back to the deep freeze again, so the ducks are getting some serious bath time today with lots of shower action happening.
After I got the snow cleared in the yard I started walking towards the garden hose and the ducks knew what I was doing and started to talk to me, the closer I got to the pen with the hose the more noise they were making.
There was one point today it got so warm the ducks thought they were getting out to free range today, it was like they forget I had the garden hose out for them.
Broke the tractor clearing the snow earlier today, so now I’ve got an unexpected job today taking the front end off the tractor and taking the part that broke to my neighbour to get it welded.
When I got back from my trip to my neighbours there was this really soaked little female pekin ducks in the bath tub and she was absolutely soaked to the bone.
The duck with the eye infection is almost completely back to normal the drops worked so well.
