Up early today 5am and out to get the ducks their water and it’s a really cold morning, almost extreme cold.
Did egg recon right away when I took the water down to them and I’ll do a second recon with the next water.
By mid afternoon it had become a touch colder with the wind chill at -35°C. And the barn will have to be cleaned out on Friday for sure if I want to keep the humidity low in the barn.
Told I’m having 2 double yoke duck eggs for breakfast fried in duck fat, very tasty eggs.
Took the ducks some water at the end of day and it was too cold in the barn and had to close off the front entrance.
